Dec. 6

Here is a site I found and like for examples
http://www.zenadiadesign.com/?cat=13

But First, Julia's Most Interesting of Dec 6, 2013:

What do you think of these - as colors (I am going to choose 1-2 shades of a color - 3 if the shades are subtly different.  Also, Tommy told me that "metallic" infers shiny and sparkle, so I guess 'muted' is kinda more what I am going for... Soooo champagne, muted gold, silver, copper and maaaaaaybe one of these.....

These reds is great - all of them in that arrangement

Here are purples I like and wouldn't mind considering

This is something that was sent to me, I wish they weren't weird artichoke looking things - it makes it hard to consider the color when the item is so unique and interesting looking but hey, why not

Maybe the deeper colors of these flowers...

Here is an scheme I found that seems to look similar to the background (like you mentioned).  It's not as warm and 'springy' as I thought it would be.... also I can't see the color of the blog background as I post this so this may not even come close to matching....)

I love these invites enough to show them as examples of what I am looking for (however I do like the first photo addressee (is that right?... the person whose address is on the envelope?), all slanted and shit.

Don't think you have to comment on every post.  Just give me your thoughts when they pop up in your brains n'things (like your heart... awwwwwww.....gross)
whatever.

miss you so much.

P.S.   I found out yesterday that only dudes can be colorblind - women carry the gene and infect those suckers, but apparently I'm not color blind just an idiot)

  1. My opinions:

Invites: I like the last ones. But that's because I'm not a fan of the traditional uber formal script and presentation. BUT, I knot that most people do like that, so feel free to ignore me. I am pro the slanted script, also.

As far as the colors, I am personally adverse to anything pink-y, so I'm more of a fan of the red-based and blue-based schemes that are up there. I actually really like the gold and salmon palate, but it's not really what you're going for, it's definitely something different than the purple scheme. So scratch that. I definitely like the really deep purple in the last one.

  2. You and I are on the same page in terms of the art-deco and the purple. I really do like the side script as well. I think those three may soon be solidified
