But First, Julia's Most Interesting of December 5, 2013:
Center Piece Ideas
I really love some of these - The Last Photo is just an Example of the height I would like so as to not block guests view of one another - its not actually an example of what I 'want' the others are much more in line with what I was thinking... The center pieces cannot block the view of ppl to look across the table and make fun of my dress and palletes choice
Table Linen
I hardly love it, but the top linen interests me, and could possibly be workable in different color/setting...
Colors - I want metallic s - gold, silver, copper, black (lol, I wish I knew of a metallic black - but black is included in the fucking pallet) Then I need one more color. You will be wearing it so keep that in mind. Which do you like....?
Fuck! I have no time, but for now know this;
(1) I'm looking for similar ones for deep purples and emerald - Andy has said he doesn't like green of any kind. So that'S in my mind too. Also, the 'color' would be few shade of that color (maybe two, maaaaaaaybe 3) I'll post more soon.
(2) I will be posting some of these from work and will only be able to spend 6-12 min on them. No grammar checks, spell checks or promises of any kind are being made regarding the quality of this bullshit blog.

I like the second center piece. Do you want it to be really tall or really short? I kinda like the tall thing, would make it seem grandiose. I dig the table cloth overlay. Maybe something more delicate than what's there would make it look a little better. As far as the accent color goes, if Andy hates green, then Emerald might not be a good idea. I think you can do a lot with purple, and it's a class color. You can do deep purple for the dresses, and maybe a lilac as an additional shaded accent color. But deep purple could be intense. I guess it just depends on the vibe you want from the colors. What about red? Also intense, but it would be more of a pop. I don't know though, I think purple is more wedding-y. Let me know if there's anything that you need to see options for. Like I can find pictures of dress/colors/center pieces/whatever. Just give me a subject and the general thing that you want to see and I'll post pictures and options!
ReplyDeleteAlso, this might be crazy, but what about the coral color that's the background of this blog? That might be a cool accent color?
ReplyDeleteI'll totally pin up some options.
ReplyDeleteI spend the 20 min before working on things like this
the color of this background is more spring/fall - but it is pretty....hmmm
oh, and TALL centerpiece. that decision is made (look there's one!!!)
